Greetings to all that visit the House Of Alpha!  I am Errick Prince and it is with great humility that I lead the amazing men of the Delta Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.  It is an honor to be affiliated with such dynamic leaders and men of distinction in the beautiful city of San Antonio, TX.  The Ice Cold Brothers of the Alamo City are fully committed to the Mission Statement and National Programs of our beloved fraternity.  We are professionals in Military, Business, Medicine, Law, Government/Civil Service, IT, Education, Entertainment, Arts, Banking, and every other industry of influence.  We take pride in our accomplishments but we are grounded in dedication to our faith, families, and freedom.  We thank you for supporting us in all that we do to uplift society.

This picture was taken at the home of Mr. and Mrs. U.J. Andrews, 1512 East Houston St. on Saturday, September 3, 1949, as members of Delta Rho Lambda met to receive the oath of charter as San Antonio’s new graduate chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.

The first Black Greek-letter organization, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (Alpha) was founded on the campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York on December 4, 1906. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity currently has more than 850 chapters around the world and a membership in excess of 185,000.
